The RICS, ISVA and DETR launch a service to assist the small business community in England and Wales when dealing with commercial rent reviews. The Small Business Scheme will provide for the appointment of an independent expert to decide the new rent. The expert will charge a fixed maximum fee, so the parties know from the outset how much the service will cost. The scheme is administered by the RICS Dispute Resolution Service.
