A court has ruled that former council homes may be let to holidaymakers. Caradon District Council attempted to enforce a covenant imposed on two former council houses near Fowey which were being let through an agency as holiday homes, but it was held that this did not constitute business use. The local MP is concerned about the effect the decision could have on the availability of housing for local people.
