£3.9m scheme for owners of listed buildings

The Irish government has announced a grant scheme to assist in carrying out conservation work on listed buildings. The standard amount will be 50% of the approved cost of works, up to a maximum of IR£10,000. In exceptional circumstances 75% of the cost, up to IR£20,000 may be approved. Only conservation works will qualify, not routine maintenance, alterations or improvements.
