The DETR has launched CLAIRE (Contaminated Land: Applications in Real Environment), a public private partnership to develop government commitment to sustainable remediation of contaminated land. CLAIRE will work closely with site owners, technology vendors and researchers to establish a network of test sites, broadly representing the main types of contaminated sites that occur across the UK. Lists the members of CLAIRE and gives biographies of the board of directors.
