More than 16,000 in damages has been awarded by the Official Referees Court to a couple following a five-year legal action against the Woolwich Building Society . After moving into their home, the couple discovered major subsidence which the Woolwich`s mortgage valuation report did not mention. The building society are considering whether to appeal against the decision.
