Jones Lang Wootton has admitted subcontracting part of the valuation work on Queens Moat Houses hotels. In the light of the QMH controversy, the British Association of Hotel Accountants has launched professional guidelines "Recommended practice for the valuation of hotels" (£25). The RICS is considering new valuation guidance.
