Details of the Emergency Works and Advice Scheme launched by English Heritage in November 1998, to run initially for a one-year pilot. It is aimed at privately owned Grade I and II listed buildings, and designed to help owners deal with sudden unforeseen disasters to their properties, in order to buy them time until a permanent solution can be implemented.
