Conveyancing shake-up - 1999 - Independent 4 October 1999, 1(1) .

Government has revealed new rules to speed up conveyancing, partly aimed at beating 'gazumping'. Sellers will have to provide relevant information in a 'seller's pack', and estate agents will be under a statutory duty to ensure that sellers have complied with the rules.
