Limited partnership reform faces axe

Limited partnership reform faces axe - 1999 - Property Week 64(42) 29 October 1999, 7(1) .

Reforms to relax the rules governing the creation of limited partnership funds will be delayed until the end of 2000, or scrapped. Delays have occurred in the review of general partnership reforms which the English & Scottish Law Commissions want to complete before looking at limited partnerships. However work by the Treasury on limited liability partnership law could sideline limited partnerships altogether.
