A report by the Loss Prevention Council, Fire spread in multistorey buildings with glazed curtain wall facades recommends that architects specify fire-resistant glazing for such buildings where possible, and ensure that fire-stopping is fitted to a high standard. Sprinklers are identified as the most appropriate protection.
