Gives an overview of the EU Eco-Management and Audit Scheme (EMAS) five years after its introduction. Revisions have been agreed to try and improve take up of the scheme. These widen the scope, make the reporting requirements more flexible and give it a closer relationship to ISO 14001. Summarises the changes and compares the two standards.
