Lists the ten factories which discharge the most alkylphenols into rivers in Britain. Alkylphenols are toxic and have been shown to change the sex of fish. The worst site is the ICI Chemicals factory in Wilton, Cleveland which discharged 8.1 tonnes into the Tees in 1998. Map.
