Gives final estimates for new construction orders for March 1999, and provisional estimates for May 1999. The total volume for March-May 1999 was 15% higher than December 1998-February 1999, and 3% higher than March-May 1998. The private commercial and public works sectors continue to grow while levels of private industrial orders remains low. Tables & graphs.
