The government has announced regeneration initiatives worth more than £3.5bn. This is in addition to £3bn EU Objective One structural funds. The funding was announced, as Round 5 of the Single Regeneration Budget (SRB), by the DETR, DTI and DfEE who are linking regeneration strategies.
