The Audit Commission has assessed 98% of local authorities as either having eliminated all risk of disruption due to the millennium bug, or having containment plans in place. However six English authorities (listed) and four Scottish ones are not prepared. The Housing Corporation says 77% of housing associations have completed a risk assessment, and 65% have containment plans.
