Culworth Estates Ltd v Society of Licensed Victuallers QBD 27 February 1990. The landlords claim for damages against the tenants` failure to repair premises and for compensation for loss of rent was upheld as there was no evidence that the landlords had firm plans to carry out structural alterations or that there was no market for the premises as they were; circumstances which might have made repairs valueless.
