Fox hunting is likely to be banned in Scotland before England. An MSP has said he will introduce a bill to outlaw hunting with hounds, and a survey has shown that such a bill would win the support of a majority of MSPs. Campaigners hope this will go through next spring, although the government has warned that it could take at least a year.
