The pressure group, Save Britainαs Heritage, is pioneering a repair and maintenance service for owners of historic buildings. The pilot study of the service, known as Monument Watch UK has received a grant for £40,000. The scheme will enable owners of historic buildings to subscribe to a service involving regular inspections and simple repairs by qualified professionals.
