The Town and Country Planning Association has criticised the urban taskforce report for ignoring the issue of jobs. It says the the 'inexorable' exodus of jobs to the suburbs, small towns and rural areas will undermine the urban renaissance, with lifestyle demands reinforcing the counter-urban trend.
