Discusses the case of "Dredging and Construction Company v Delta Civil Engineering" which examined the operation of Clause 18(8) of the CECA blue form of subcontract. The clause provides that relevant disputes under the subcontract be dealt jointly with disputes under the main contract - these provisions are no longer subject to whether an subcontract arbitrator has been appointed.
