"Gatwick Parking Service Ltd v Sargent", CA 24 January 2000. The respondent tenant occupied a site used as a car park . The landlord opposed an application for a new tenancy on the grounds that he was intending to occupy for the same purpose. The planning permission for the use of the site as a car park was conditional on the use being carried out by the tenant company. The County Court judge ruled in favour of the tenant. The landlord appealed. "Held" appeal allowed.
