"DNB Mortgages Ltd v Bullock & Lees (a firm)" CA 28 January 2000. DNB sued B (a firm for surveyors) for damages for negligence in overvaluing a house for the purposes of a mortgage. The judge found that the action was statute-barred, as the cause of the action had taken place more than six years previously. D appealed, claiming the judge had misdirected himself in determining when the cause of action had accrued. Appeal dismissed.
