ChD 4 February 2000. In 1982 G purchased farm from P, who owned the adjoining land. P granted defendants a licence to farm the adjoining land. P did not respond to defendants' request for an renewed licence in 1984 for 1985. G continued to farm the disputed land. The issue was whether G had acquired title of the land by adverse possession. Held, the claimants' application for possession dismissed.
