"Standard Life Co Ltd v Greycoat Devonshire Square Ltd" ChD 14 March 2000. Long lease of a commercial premises. Lessee obliged to pay additional rent expressed as a percentage of amounts received from occupying tenants. A departing tenant made a payment to G in respect of dilapidations. At issue was whether a percentage of this payment was part of the gross rent payable under the terms of the lease. "Held" the damages did not form part of the gross rents.
