Complaints rise but no cases of malpractice - 2000 - Negotiator 15(7) 7 April 2000, 3(1) .

The Ombudsman for Estate Agents (OEA) reveals in his annual report that most complaints against estate agents are about maladministration rather than malpractice. During 1999, the Ombudsman formally investigated 316 complaints out of 3,889 but there were no cases of malpractice.
