Farmland values rise slowly

Farmland values rise slowly - 2000 - Yorkshire Post 11 May 2000, 20(1) .

New analysis by the RICS shows that the average price of farmland rose in the 1Q of 2000 to £7,485 per hectare (£3,029 per acre). However prices are expected to decline later in the year, as it is expected more farmers will decide to sell up in the present situation. Farms with residential appeal command stronger prices.
