Mayor of London is proposing to introduce a daily charge for drivers entering central London. The charge would be £5 a day for cars and £15 a day for lorries and would operate between 7am and 7pm. Despite protests, the scheme could trigger a residential property boom in central London if the experience of other world capitals where vehicles are restricted is repeated.
