A report by Britain's general trade union, GMB, shows that service workers such as teachers, nurses and hospital porters are now so poorly paid that they cannot afford to live in the areas that they work in. The worst hit areas are Kensington and Chelsea in London and Berkshire, Hertfordshire and Dorset.
