"Alfred McAlpine Construction Ltd v Panatown Ltd", HL 27 July 2000. Appellent M was engaged by respondent P as the main contractor on land belonging sister company UIPL. UIPL was obtaining warranties under a separate deed made with M. P claimed damages for defective work and delay. CA decision for P to recover substantial damages.
