Superstores in 2000 jobs boost - 2000 - Birmingham Post 12 October 2000, 5(1) .

Sainsbury's announced the creation of nearly 2000 jobs at two new superstores in Birmingham as part of their biggest investment in the UK outside Greater London. Proposals for the new stores at Selly Oak and Yardley have been welcomed by Birmingham City Council and form part of their regeneration policy for the area.
