Victims of terrorism
Mungo, J.
Victims of terrorism - 2000 - Property Week 65(42) 27 October 2000, 102(1) .
Urges landlords and occupiers to urgently review their insurance arrangements in the light of the Terrorism Bill, which is due to go before the House of Lords in the current session of parliament. If they do not they could find that their arrangements are inadequate. For the Bill contains a proposal to broaden the definition of terrorism to cover: 'the use or threat of action for advancing political, religious or ideological causes involving serious violence towards people or property, endangering life or creating a serious risk to the public'. Suggests that terrorism top-up cover should be considered. The key point is to ensure that full terrorism cover is purchased for all property.
