Comments made by the Agriculture Minister on a forecast that Total Income From Farming (TIFF) in UK is set to fall by 27% in 2000 and is set to fall 72% from its peak in 1995. The fall is due to pressure on prices for agricultural outputs caused by a rise in sterling against the euro.
