System not delaying farm diversification - 2000 - Planning (for the Natural and Built Environment) (1397) 1 December 2000, 3(1) .

Discusses a study by the University of the West of England, commissioned by the Planning Officers' Society, which concludes that planning is not holding back farm diversification. Findings indicated that the vast majority of applications submitted by farmers are approved, and two-thirds of applicants are happy with the planning system.
