Duke reduces farm rents

Duke reduces farm rents - 2000 - Times 12 December 2000, 10(1) .

Farm landlords are being urged to follow the example of the Duke of Westminster who dropped or held rents for his tenant farmers because the farms are not making any profit. The Tenant Farmers' Association hopes other landlords will be flexible, and take a long-view of the agricultural crisis.
