Magon v Barking and Dagenham LBC - 2000 - Rating Appeals [2000] RA 459-470(7) .

QBD 18 October 1999. Held that the premises divided into units and used by the licensees for storage were in the rateable occupation of the owner because the premises were used as a business by the owner for the purpose of allowing the licensees to store their goods in the premises or parts of the premises on the terms of agreements which gave very limited rights to the licneses and the actual occupation of the premiss by te owner by virrtue of the nature of the control over the premises. Appeal dismissed.
