As part of the Action Plan for Farming the rate of grant under the NVZ Farm Waste Grant Scheme has been increased from 25% to 40% of eligible expenditure. This will help farmers to meet the costs associated with installing additional waste handling and storage facilities in order to comply with mandatory Action Program measures in NVZs. The new rate will apply to applications lodged with MAFF between 29/11/00 and 17/4/03.
