High street rents stabilise

New research from Catella Property Consultants indicates limited movement in high street rents in the second half of 2000; only Oxford and Peterborough showed rising rents out of 21 town centres surveyed. In contrast, out-of-town centres continued to prosper with just one of the 19 centres surveyed recording static rents.
