CA 26 May 2000. The issue was over entitlement to easements by the vendor, the brewery (Ss), over land sold by the council (S). No actual easement was expressly granted but SS contended that these rights were quasi-easements. It was decided that, under condition 5(3) of the Law Society's general conditions of sale, they were not established easements. Appeal dismissed.
