Landlords lose right to raid titles - 2001 - Scotsman 11 January 2001, 11(1) .

Moves to change an ancient Scots law has won approval in the Scottish parliament. The area of Scottish leasehold law to change, stems from payments which should be made to landlords. The most contentious payments being based on rental values and found on long leases such as 999 years but which have not been enforced for years. This law affects approximately 1,500 leasehold titles.
