A new report "White Collar CO2" by the Association for the Conversation of Energy (ACE) identifies practical measures to save wasted energy, both beneficial to businesses and the environment. The report calls for legislation to require a property freeholder to improve the energy efficiency of their buildings. Briefly outlines the response of Prudential plc who welcomes the report, but believes regulation could raise practical problems in monitoring and increase risks to institutional investors.
