Looks at a new geographic information system , System 9 , developed by Wild Heerbrugg which will enable the user not only to draw up digital maps, but store and retrieve lists of `attributes` which through a relational database, can be linked to provide graphic displays of where any particular item of information holds true or lists of items relevant to any place on the map.
