Online art auction site Artnet, has stopped trying to sell paintings online, and will concentrate on photography and prints. Buyers are unwilling to spend large amounts of money on works they have not examined in person. Discusses how the online art market has experienced this as a whole and is in the process of correcting itself. Online sales in photography and prints look set to grow.
