Energy study gets funding go-ahead

A six-month feasibility study has received funding from Objective One, part of the European Regional Development Fund. The Greenpark Feasibility Study aims to look into alternative and more environmentally sensitive methods of providing heat and electricity for business parks by using household waste. If successful, the project could be adopted all over the country and provide an alternative to landfill sites for disposing of household and commercial waste.
