An analysis of the key economic indicators for the UK construction industry, which reveals that construction is set for slow growth across Europe. Whilst there are few indications of a slowdown in new work and builders merchants' sales continued to rise, output fell in the third quarter of 2001 and the number of new homes under construction also declined.
