Discusses some of the difficulties facing adjudicators, including whether or not there is a relationship between their impartiality and the principals of natural justice. Comments on the fact that many of the recent judgments on the impact of the Human Rights Act 1998 conflict with one another but concludes that, as adjudication is a form of 'rough justice', there will inevitably be minor breaches of natural justice. This does not, however, excuse adjudicators from following the rules that govern adjudication or any participant from conducting themselves properly.
