QSs compete for place on Railtrack's supplier list

Railtrack has advertised in the European Union's "Official Journal" for a new panel of framework QSs, to replace the 12 firms that were appointed in 1998. This is the result of Railtrack's reorganisation of infrastructure contracts in the wake of the Hatfield disaster. Over 40 firms, which include the original 12, have responded to the advertisement.
