In an attempt to enable ratepayers to take a more active role in the process by which their properties are valued for business rates, the Valuation Office Agency (VOA) has announced the formation of the National Ratepayers' Valuation Forum. This will provide direct communication between the VOA and ratepayers. The Forum will be composed of representatives of trade associations and ratepayer organisations.
