Highlights the main areas covered by the Housing (Scotland) Bill which concentrates on social housing. The main areas covered by the Bill include: a new homelessness framework and allocation of housing (Sections 1-8); introduction of a single tenancy (Sections 9-35); reforms to the Right to Buy for new tenants (Sections 36-44); rights for tenants and a duty on landlords to prepare a strategy for tenant participation (Sections 45-48); a single framework for the regulation of social landlords, and the transfer of Scottish Homes duties to an new Executive Agency (Sections 49-78).
