£11M war chest for land buying

£10.8m is to be distributed by the Scottish Land Fund to rural communities to enable them to be fully involved in the ownership, management and development of the land they live on. The Fund, financed by the National Lottery, will offer up to £1m for individual estate buy-outs, whilst a fast track scheme will provide funding for feasibility studies to examine the possibility of buying land.
