RICS to launch energy checklist

In April 2001 RICS will launch an energy efficiency checklist that surveyors will be able to use to help their clients reduce energy consumption in non-residential buildings. Guidance notes showing how to complete the form will ensure that all competent surveyors will be able to conduct the exercise. The aim of the checklist is to concentrate on those matters a building owner and occupier can influence. The checklist will be downloadable from the RICS website from early April.
